Changing Your Name? Check Out This Free Site.

Are you taking your husband’s last name? If so, there’s some paperwork that needs to be done to make it official. I know, I know, paperwork sucks, but the folks over at NameThatBride.com are doing their best to make it easy for you. And did I mention it’s free? The site features downloadable forms, checklists, tips to keep it simple and much more.

When I got married I navigated through the process myself. I would’ve loved to have something like this to help me save time and energy that I could’ve focused somewhere else – like on my husband.

If you check the site out and find it helpful please do let me know. I’d love to hear and share your feedback with other new wives.

Winks & Smiles,
Wifey

One thing that really helped me out was I made a list of EVERYTHING that would need to be changed (credit cards, banking, my MBA classes, etc) and found out ahead of time what I would need to do to change my name with them.

After the wedding, I had a complete list of phone numbers, forms, and online links saved and ready to go. It was SO easy and nice to get it done before the wedding when I was just waiting for time to pass.

Great advice, Becky! Using time on the front end to make something easy on the back end is always is good. Smiles! It's great that it doesn't have to be a chore. I was all smiles when I sent off my forms.
